April 6th is a big day for sneaker releases. In addition to Nike Basketball’s Easter-themed sneakers and the second colorway of the Jordan Son of Mars, the Air Diamond Turf II “49ers” is set to hit shelves on the 6th of April. Sporting a red base with black, white and gold accents, the sneakers aren’t an exact duplicate of the original model, but are close enough not to complain. Those of you who nitpick on originality, the differences are noticeable on the heel, where red replaces black around Deion’s signature logo and the once gold Nike logo is now stitched in red. Both minor differences that are in no way going to stop the shoes from selling-out with the quickness. If you’re waiting to get a pair, check out these new images below, provided by Moe’s Sneaker Spot in NYC, and watch for the Nike Air Diamond Turf II “49ers” to drop at a retailer near you next weekend.
