With several successful collaborations in the past, Beauty & Youth and New Balance join hands once more to create a co-branded sneaker.

This time, the two concocted a women’s only release of the W996, outfitting the upper of the retro-style running shoe in beige suede, along with subtle touches of gold and pink leather for a fresh, flirty look. A white midsole, infused with New Balance’s C-CAP cushioning system, separates the upper from a matching beige outsole, while pink insoles include the branding of both companies in white.

The Beauty & Youth x New Balance W996 ($NA) is slated to release in limited quantities on April 20th, through select retailers including Hanon.

Nike Zoom Revis “Knicks” Releases Early

The Nike Zoom Revis “Knicks” has arrived at retailers earlier than expected.

Originally slated to hit retailers on April 25th, the Zoom Revis “Knicks” ($130) is now available through NikeStore and select distributors nationwide. Covered primarily in Brilliant Orange with White and Game Royal accents, the Knicks-inspired colorway of Darrelle Revis’ signature Nike model couldn’t come at a better time, considering the Knicks are fresh off a title win and the playoffs are just around the corner.

Nike Air Max+ 2013 “Heritage Pack”

Slapping old colorways on a new model, Nike presents the Air Max+ 2013 “Heritage Pack”. The pack includes four colorways of the latest and most technically advanced Air Max model that reference original colorways of the Air Max 1, Air Max 90, Air Max 95, and the Air Max 97. There’s no need to point out the specific models and tell you that one pair represents the Air Max 90 “Infrared” and another the Air Max 95 “Neon” because the resemblance should be unmistakable to anyone up on their Air Max’s. The four pack is expected to hit retailers in the coming months.

Looking like it was painted by an 8-year-old off their ridilin regiment, the Nike Kobe 8 “N7″ is sure to turn heads with its multi-color design. Made to benefit Nike’s N7 Fund, which since 2009 has provided more than $1.5 million in support to Native American & Aboriginal youth sport programs, the sneaker features a mishmash of colors throughout the upper that appear in no real organized fashion, along with a clear translucent outsole. Nike continues to capitalize on the Air Trainer SC High long after Bo Jackson’s retirement. Dutch retailer Patta took to Twitter today to reveal a Quickstrike edition of the model that it recently received from Nike to distribute among the people of Amsterdam. Covered entirely in black, the sneaker is treated with a cement print mudguard and patent leather on the Swoosh and toe area, adding sophisticated shine to the old Bo Jackson signature. It was noted that the sneaker will be available Friday, March 22nd, but it’s unclear if that date applies for US distributors.

New Balance 574 “Floral Hemp” Pack

New Balance makes use of one of the oldest fibers in the world for a special pack of 574′s. The “Floral Hemp” Pack, as it’s called, includes three colorways of the brand’s staple silhouette, each featuring a floral print liner and an upper partially constructed of hemp, which dates back to 10,000 BC and, believe it or not, was once considered legal tender in the US and could be used to pay your taxes. The sneakers, offered in yellow and orange, green and yellow and black and blue variations, are due to hit New Balance retailers including Chapter World next month.
